One-time payment
The newest version of SmartGo One allows a one-time payment for the Pro upgrade. For most, the modest $15/year subscription remains the best way to enjoy everything SmartGo has to offer, but I’ve heard from many who prefer a one-time payment. Recently added features
Some highlights from recently added features:
- Show top opponents for each player
- Filter players by origin, find games by female players
- Sort players by given name or family name
- Start new game on iPhone without going back to list
Vision Pro
Apple has announced that their Vision Pro headset will be shipping soon. While it will be exciting to run SmartGo on the headset, I've decided that this is not the year to spend a lot of time adapting SmartGo to take advantage of the Vision Pro – still too much to improve for the devices that you’re actually using. More in this blog post.
Niklaus Wirth
The inventor of the programming language Pascal died recently, and I wrote some notes on how his contributions affected the course of my life at different points. SmartGo might not have happened without him.
